Zelda: Windwaker HD coming to Wii U

Nintendo has announced it is releasing a high definition reboot of GameCube classic The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker on Wii U later this year.

The game will benefit from a visual makeover and some gameplay tweaks, as well as the introduction of off-TV GamePad and Miiverse support.

"Our new Zelda title looks like it is going to take some time to complete, said Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma. "So I wanted to report that while you're waiting for that game to release, we intend to offer you The legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, reborn on Wii U, to play in the meantime."

The Wind Waker's graphics have aged nicely, I wasn't expecting a HD rema-, err, port, of it. Looks great.

Just watch it have the Back in Time glitch just like TWW, TP and SS. Wouldn't be surprised if the the new Zelda after this still has it as well, hahaha. Gotta reuse them engines.

I do hope that nintendo includes the missing temple 3.

I think it was left out due to quality issues.

I have never played wind waker cause I never owned a game cube... FINALLY!!! :D I feel so giddy inside
